New favorite Korean restaurant in the burbs. So many options, extremely fresh, and very authentic!
Very delicious food, good selection and very authentic Korean cuisine. I go here at least once a month. Love this place. Highly recommend!
Had dinner tonight at this restaurant versus our normal carry out! Always great food! Service tonight was excellent and atmosphere very nice! Highly recommend! If you enjoy traditional Korean food you'll love this place! Lots of sides with your entree! Love this place, check it out!
This Korean restaurant is great! The inside is very clean and staffs are very friendly. They offer variety of options on their menu and in my opinion their cooking is a bit better than other Korean restaurants that offer the same dishes. One specialty they have on their menu is the ginseng chicken. This is a must get! I always get this for myself or family in the winter days or when someone isn't feeling well. One thing to note, and this is neither good or bad, it's just for transparency, they do charge $1 if you do carry out for ask for a container for your left over. This is really a great place to go, i highly recommend it.
OMG. I have finally found a restaurant that meets my expectations as a Korean American who grew up with homemade Korean food 3x a day. I swear my mom makes the BEST fried rice and this place pretty much makes fried rice that is on the same level as my mom's. Dishes are slightly on the more expensive side but portion sizes are huge. Our family's favorite dishes are the chicken fried rice, rice cake soup, jap chae and soojaebi. When I crave my mom's food, this is the place I go. It is tucked away in a shopping plaza, and next to a restaurant that has a very similar name. Ample parking, good service, and quick. Can't wait to go back.
As a Korean-American I can attest that this is legit, authentic Korean food that reminds me of my mom's cooking growing up. The owner is also very sweet and everything in the restaurant is top notch. I'm esp a big fan of their gamjatang (pork-bone potato soup), their dolsot bibimbop and their spicy pork ribs. Got to try them all!
I really like this restaurant. I don't know why because I can't particularly say the food is the best Korean food or that they have the best service or anything but something about it is just really nice if you want a humble Korean meal. The price is pretty reasonable for the food you're getting and there has never been anything I didn't like. The service is just okay. It's typical Korean service, sometime they're nice, sometimes they're not. But they were really understanding when we went with a bunch of babies that were loud and messy. My go to dish is the soojaebi, which I don't like paying for since I make a really good version at home very easily, but I feel like something about this place is just worth it. Definitely a place worth checking out if you like Korean food but don't like making it yourself.
Ordered seolloengtang and yukgaejang and both were great!! wish it was a little spicier, but overall it was fresh and authentic tasting. One of the better restaurant quality yukgaejangs i've had. Thought the price was fair as well. This was a nice little local restaurant with friendly staff and home-y vibes. I will definitely be back. I bet they taste even better during the winter!
Excellent Korean noodle place, lots of dishes you just don't see outside of South Korea or South Korean movies. Since I watch a lot of South Korean movies I knew what all these dishes looked like, but not what they all tasted like. Authentic Korean service, so no you're not going to get that obsequious insincere emotive and dramatic American restaurant service, but you don't really want that. It doesn't go with this kind of food. Be really careful about splashing sauce or soup, some of this will really stain. By the way, it's good manners to make slurping noises with your noodle soups, that means you're enjoying it. You eat Korean noodles quietly if they're mediocre. Also be careful, Koreans, like Japanese, like their hot soups hot enough to burn. It's another reason to slurp, if you suck in air with the boiling hot noodles you can avoid burning the roof of your mouth or tongue. It's a technique that takes practice. The portion sizes are generous so you can get a lot of practice.
Great food and friendly services. Really good stir fry spicy pork belly and Kimchi jjigae (spicy Kimchi soup). They offered a lots of Korean beer and Korean rice wine which is perfect for dinner. Restaurant located in the strip mall and a lots of parking space.
